The Bone Ships Wake Tide Child Book Three by RJ Barker

I really wish I had my original review of this one because the ending completely eclipses the entirety of the rest of the book for me.

I can say this, though; once I finished it, I quietly set it down and went out onto my porch, where it was pouring down rain and just cried. To this day, I can't even tell you what kind of tears they were. I was heartbroken, I was happy, and I was even a little bit angry because as far as I was (and still am concerned) Joron and Gullaime should have never had to do what they did. And yet, I do believe that a society can be broken beyond repair. So, while I wish there had been a better way, I can see and appreciate that what they did had to be done.

In the end, Tide Child Series solidified Barker as an auto buy author for me, and I simply can not recommend this series enough.
