And while I would say everyone should read all of these there are definitely some stand outs. So here are the three books I believe you absolutely should read!
Wolf's Path by Joyce Chng
Honestly, if you just read one book on this list I'd make it this one. This collection of short stories spans Chng's career and is one of the most powerful books I have ever read. Chng's emotions and thoughts on both their self and the world at large are on full display and there were many times that it felt like I had discovered their diary lying open and could not keep myself from reading it but yet they had clearly written it for me. Truly one of the best collections of stories I have ever read.
User Not Found is a dystopia censorship tale for certain, but it is also one of love, support, and community. When so many are facing true erasure from a government ran by men who are simply cowards User Not Found reminds us that light can be found even in the darkest of times.
The Ghost Princess was simply a ton of fun! Walsh expertly takes some of the most overused tropes on the planet and turns them on their heads. With a great cast of characters and some truly intense action scenes if you're looking for a true escape from this dystopian hellscape we find ourselves is this is the book I'd read!
I've got a ton of great books for March to read and I'll be getting my TBR uploaded here shortly so stick around!
