Another Mini Manga Post!!
Without Further Ado The Manga:
We learn a little bit more of Norachiyo's past and why he is so dedicated to finding his master, a mysterious new group is introduced and I think we've found a side kick!
Yuki is an orphan, abandoned as a child he has found a place to belong within the walls of the orphanage where he feels loved, accepted, and most importantly needed. As he ages though he comes into powers that allow him to see people's hidden pains and secrets, causing some around him to resent him. Unfortunately, what Yuki doesn't realize is he is at the very heart of a war between humanity and demons and the demons will use those humans resentment to end Yuki's life. However, there is one demon who is sworn to protect Yuki and he has finally found him.
The Civil War has ended and Norachiyo has returned to life as a stray, he wanders the country side looking for his final resting place while protecting those strays who find themselves at the mercy of "kept" cats and catnip-pushing druglords.
This series had me at "Catnip Druglords". Outside of the hilarious translations of human issues to cats this was an absolutely fantastic tale of life as a ronin told through a cat. Norachiyo is definitely not what I'd call a good guy though. He hasn't really set out to save the strays (peasants) from the kept cats (upper classes) he just happens to have a code of honor that he cant ignore. He also seems to possibly be immortal and there's a mysterious priest who seems to know a bit about Norachiyo's past.
And look seriously this is bloody and violent. If you're looking for a cutesy tale about a cat samurai this is not it. Yes, its funny in some parts but it is definitely R Rated humor.

I'm definitely loving this series!
We still don't really have any idea what is actually going on, but we get Vamp Misaki and thats all that matters!
Okay not all but its definitely my favorite part. I still love Solitaire, he's just kind of inserted himself smack dab into the middle of a deadly game and he just keeps bluffing his way along. What makes his role so much better is that pretty much everyone he interacts with catches on pretty quickly that he has no idea what's going on but they give him information anyway.
I am still so very confused in regards to the Fire Breathing Bug though, this is obviously on purpose but I *need* to know! Are they actually a group? Is it just one person that can control people? And what the hell does the Agakura family have to do with it!?
I clearly need volume 7 asap!

Omg I loved this so much!! This is genuinely the type of series Ive been looking to read forever!! It reminds me so much of X/1999 that I was hooked before I even finished page one! The battle for earth; one group dedicated to saving humanity, the other dedicated to wiping us out and a traitor on both sides is genuinely one of my favorite niche tropes and I can not wait to read more of this!
